I want to do some implementation in Java for CORBA. Would like to implement a calculator.
Can someone please direct me to a link which has has simple code for beginners in CORBA? I would like my client to be an applet that sends in two numbers and the operation to be performed. The operation is performed at the server and returned to the client applet.

I'd recommend the following book, which I used in the olden days when I used to do CORBA development:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0471247650/qid=1109187903/sr=2-1/ref=pd_ka_b_2_1/102-4431447-3876132

used copies from $1.70!! you can beat that! ;-)

but why CORBA? you'd be better off using web services for most things these days.

cheers,

Dave.
