hi all... can somebody tell me how an application written in java can interact with RFID reader. I m thinking of a distributed application in which my application will read or write data to RFID tags. but i guess there is no open source which provides APIs to work with RFIDs. please help

I don't think it's open source, but it looks like Sun has some kind of API for working with RFID.
