Hi:

I am running Rmiregistry on port 1099. I have a couple of remote objects. Is it possible for me to export all the remote objects on the 1099 ?

If I try to do that I get an exception saying port already in use.
Here I am doing UnicastRemoteObject.exportObject(this,1099);

But if I do UnicastRemoteObject.exportObject(this) then it works fine.

If anybody can explain me how this works, I would be grateful.

protected UnicastRemoteObject(this)

Creates and exports a new UnicastRemoteObject object using an anonymous port.
