Hello EveryOne,
I have swing application which is running in Asia but the Database is in chicago and i am using database's native wire protocol.
So i post this topic on java I/O stream forum, someone reply me that i have to send messages in a once and send those messages to some application server in which put some Servelt to process the Database commands.
Can anyone help me in this regards that or if someone have any example that how can communicate from point 1(asia) to point 2 (USA) using servlet.
I am not sure that is this a right forum or not.
But if someone reply i am very thankful.

Thanks in advance

Since you want to talk to a servlet, this sounds like a job for a web service, probably using SOAP and not the "native wire protocol".

This web service stuff is wayyyyyy too complicated to summarize in one post and my SOAP book is very out of date. The Apache Software Foundataion AXIS toolkit is an open source SOAP handler and appears to be well supported.
The ranch has a web service forum where you can get good advice on getting started.
