Hi all,
Can anybody please help me with this one.

I'm trying to connect to a CORBA service but failes with

Exception in thread "main" org.omg.CORBA.OBJECT_NOT_EXIST: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused vmcid: 0x56420000 minor code: 1 completed: No
at com.inprise.vbroker.ProtocolEngine.PortfolioImpl.getConnector(PortfolioImpl.java:111)

My question is realy this:

The only thing I have got from my customer is the host and port... Is that enough or do I need an IOR string or anything else??

You will need either stringified object reference (IOR string) or the string used to register the remote object to the NameService.
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
