How to secure the ports in RMI?

Hi Friends,

Currently my application is using rmi ports.I have to make that ports are secure please help me on this.

You can use RMI with SSL.

If you use JDK 5 and above, you can use SslRMIClientSocketFactory and SslRMIServerSocketFactory classes. Those classes are part in the javax.rmi.ssl package.

If you use JDK 1.4, you need to build the custom client and server factories.
