Hi, All

FIRSTLY NO COURSEWORK WALKTHROUGHS REQUIRED!!!

I have recently started a Distributed Systems module our coursework is about a Bank factory and clien bank accounts, BUT thats not what I am posting about.

I was curious how you would allow clients to share a java TextArea, Basically create a very basic collaborative real time editor, I was thinking of doing this for my FYP next year, but add more advanced features(If I get the hang of corba).

Sorry if this is a simple question but Iam a beginner in corba and have a limited ability in java. Code examples would be extremely helpful because I learn better by reading the code and see what line does what, Thank you all for reading my post.

Also How do you work with JAVA/CORBA at home, at uni we use the module on unix machine and run programs there, what application can I use at home apart from Visibroker(dont have money).

Kind Regards,
