Hello!

I can't seem to find the jsf-ri.jar in the WEB PACK downloand!

Does anyone know if this jar file has changed names or anything?

Thanks much!

Just learning JSF using an old book JSF by Kurniawan, is that the problem maybe?

You are right. It is very hard to learn the JSF using examples based on pre-release JSF-RI. jsf-ri.jar is renamed to jsf-impl.jar, but this is not only one difference. Most the tags names are changes also.

I suggest, it will be better for you if you try the actual examples. You can find some of them under "Golden Collection for JSF Newbie" section on the http://jsfTutorials.net
