I have the following code in the JSP and the following code in my bean
class. Could you please help me ? When i retrieve the parameter
grantsgovTrackingNumber I am getting null values. Can you please write
to me, whether it is a bug in JSF ? i appreciate your help.

grantsgovtrackingNumber = (String)FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getRequestParameterMap().get("grantsgovtrackingNumber") ;

<h anelGroup>
<h:commandLink action="#{ApplicationGrantsGovDetailsBean.showApplicationDetails}" immediate="true">
<h utputText value="#{requestScope.grantsgovTrackingNumber}"/>
<f aram name="grantsgovTrackingNumber" value="#{requestScope.grantsgovTrackingNumber}"/>
</h anelGroup>
