At the time this was posted, Jim Yingst had 9018 posts at the Ranch. 9000 posts are impressive, astounding, gob-smacking even. Those 18 tacked on the end look a little sad in comparison. BTW: People like Jim are what the site is all about. Thanks and congratulations!

Geez. Don't you have anything better to do than post here 9000 time? Congrats! I am sure you will have 9000 more in no time. So is this the record?

Don't know what the record is, but I know Thomas Paul is over 10,000 - almost 11,000, in fact (I just checked.)

Thank you all for the kind words. I gave up trying to catch up with Tom long ago. Then again, I also gave up trying to catch Cindy, and now that seems to have happened, so you never know... And you kept all your posts simple. Of course. Far be it from me to get involved in lengthy digressions about obscure topics; no sirree.

Thatz splendid! Congrats Jim As Mark mentioned, you made all your posts simple. I also liked the way you blend your posts with humour. Just got curious and checked when I will reach the '000 marks. At my current rate of posting (just below 0.5 posts per day ), here are the findings. 10000 posts at year 2059 Light years to go before I sleep [ October 07, 2003: Message edited by: Mani Ram ]
