Problems in JSF running with MyEclipse

Hello. I'm new to JSF, and I've been following the tutorials... and i'm using myeclipse

But i'm getting with these errors

Do not use a forward in the index.jsp, try with a redirect.

Why?

index.jsp usually is not called with the faces-lifecycle and a forward can be considered just a "method-call". That's why inputname.faces is missing its needed faces-lifecycle.

Hi, I want to know how did you resolved your issue. I am still facing the issue, I am also using the same example which you tried I tried to call jsf directly with the URL

Did you read the second response? That was the solution. don't use a forward use a redirect.
