Sortinng 'h:tableData

I am displaying data using 'h ataTable. I have 7 columns displaying various information.

The need is to provide a sorting facility such that when I sort on any one column all the other columns get sorted automatically.

Does 'h:tabledata provide any built-in sorting mechanism?

Hi

Welcome to JavaRanch.

The standard APi will not give you sortable data tables but MyFaces Tomahawk will.

By the way, a moderator will probably ask you to change your name soon. Names must be real looking on the ranch.
