You may not have put the necessary jar files into your lib directory.
Check this article :

"yeyus"

We'd like to welcome you to the JavaRanch! We don't have many rules here, but we do insist you honor ourNaming policy. Could you please change your display name? Thanks.

Which JavaServer Faces implementation are you using?

Oh sorry, I didn't know this forum rule... just change it!

I have installed:

JBossIDE-1.6.0.GA-Bundle-win32.zip (eclipse + jboss)
jboss-4.0.4.GA
MyEclipse

Thanks, Carlos.

You listed your runtime platform, but not where you're getting your JSF support modules from. Is it MyFaces? Sun Reference Implementation, Oracle ADI?

please check your jsf implementation jar file. it should contain two TLDs

I use myfaces and my myfaces-impl.jar contains myfaces-core.tld and myface-html.tld
