I would like to use JSF 1.2 inside Tomcat 6.0. I have tried to create an application that uses JSF 1.2, but can't get it to run. I am wondering if someone could detail the steps that are required to get JSF 1.2 to work within Tomcat 6.0. A good example would be to explain how to install one of the web app that comes in the samples directory of the JSF download from Sun.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
