Does JSF 1.2 work transparently with JSTL tags ?

Hi guys,

I'm used to use JSF 1.1 in my applications. However, during my "JSF Developer Life" I've got some troubles when mixing both JSF 1.1 and JSTL tags.

I'm currently using JSE5, JEE 1.4 and Tomcat 5.5 and I'm wondering whether migrating to JSF 1.2 and JEE5 would help me to solve this integration problem transparently.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Bessa,

It seems to help a lot as JSF 1.2 have improved its support for JSTL and JSP 2.1 integrates smoothly to JSF. But I did not got deep inside it yet, just read those thing in white paper.

BTW, are you brazilian?
