Modifying the In-place Edit Button/Form

I am working with the IBM's Rational Software Product and am using the in-place edit form on a data table to bring up additional information not displayed. I don't want the users to be able to edit any of the data so I've changed it so that the fields in the jspPanel are outputText. However, I would like to remove the Save button from the form itself. I'd also like to change the button that appears in the list to read View as opposed to Edit. I've done some searching on this but haven't found anything that tells me how to get at those areas of the .jsp or the code itself. Has anyone else tried this?
