Hi, as you know Struts comes with validators for email address, credit card numbers, regular expressions, and more but JSF only comes with validators for missing values, length of input, and numbers in a given range. how can we use these advantage of Struts in JSF? Regards Zohreh

Well, actually, you might consider using the JSF validators!

One of the most odious afflictions that Business has inflicted on the modern English language is "pro-active". Most of the time it's simply redundantly used in place of the simple old word "active". And a good deal of the rest of the time it means "You're not overworked enough yet, so go out and find more!"

The MyFaces Implementation of JSF includes validators for credit card, regular expressions, emails, etc. Take a look at http://myfaces.apache.org/tomahawk/ On the left hand side of the page there are links that take you to example usages of these validators.
