How to prepare for SCBCD 1.3?

Hi All,
I have started SCBCD preparation with HFEJB book.
I don't know much about the exam and preparation for it.
As, i referred HFJ for SCJP certification and i get passed SCJP 1.5 having only 1 month preparation with a great learning experience, i am going for HEAD FIRST series.
Thanks to Kathy & Bert.
Kindly suggest about how to better prepare for it.
