Looking for JSF 1.2 Components

Hi guys,

We know that for JSF 1.1 there are a lot of good free custom components implemented out there such as MyFaces Tomahawk, for example.

I'd like to know whether I can also find FREE good ones for JSF 1.2.

NetBeans 5.5 includes many JSF 1.2 custom components implemented by Sun, but when comparing to Tomahawk (which is for JSF 1.1) I still found Tomahawk unbeatable. For instance, Tomahawk TabbedPane component has ajax capabilities which I could not find on corresponding Sun's implementation.

I also found a set of components called ICEFaces which are very exciting but I'm not sure whether they are JSF 1.2 compatible.

Could you please guys suggest me some info on this ? It's really very important to me. I'm expected to create a medium size application for my post graduate course.

Thanks in advance guys.

you could try RichFaces for "GUI" components and Ajax4JSF for "ajaxing" your webapp. (Both are projects)

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
