Define explicit id= attributes on your JSF page components and make sure that each one is unique.

No, I'm not being sarcastic or funny. JSF will generate ID's if you don't define them yourself, but it's a lot easier to debug JSF page errors if you know what the component ID is instead of having to try and guess what ID got generated.
