Hi.
Well, I understand the ICEFaces components are Ajax-enabled JSF components but can I use then as my primary JSF components instead of the RI and MyFaces (even when Ajax behavior isn't required)?

Hi John
icefaces is not JSF implementation. it over support to JSF RI or MyFaces to enable AJAX in the framework.
so, you must combine either JSF RI,MyFaces, etc to have icefaces works with.
