how to use command link in jsf

hi,
i have a doubt regarding jsf ,
what the main difference between <h:commandlink> and <hutput link >

and my problem is i have to use a hyperlink to partly reload my page.

Hi,
you can think of OutputLink as something similar to <a:href="../>
whereas with commandLink you can call an action method in your managed bean which will decide the logic and navigation for your program.
you can use the onclick attribute of commandLink to call a javascript function which might reload the page or you can use the action method itself to acheive the desired result.

hi,
thanks for your reply but I have a problem.

I am using my java script outside my jsp page and i want to invoke a bean method which retrieves some information and reloads a part of my page.

and now my issue is how to include the javascript into my jsp(is it similar to< include> or some other process.

and one more thing what this actionlistner,binding attributes are and how they are usefull
