ExternalContext.isUserInRole caching?

Hi I'm currentyl experiencing the issue that the ExternalContext.isUserInRole is not picking up changes, even when I log out and log back in, changes in ldap are not correctly reflected. Am I doing something wrong or is there a possible workaround flushing the cach or something?
