I am using myfaces 1.1.4 and Ajax4Jsf. Is there a component out there that can easily be used to indicate to the user an operation is in progress? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

I think Ajax4JSF has become the Red Hat/Exadel RichFaces project.
RichFaces has 2 controls: the Status control blinks on and off while an AJAX transfer is in progress. There's also a "thermometer-style" Progress control.
