Dear Friends,

I am new to JSF and don't know anything about it.
Can you tell me which book is good for understanding the concepts as well as tags.

I have seen Actions in JSF and feel it has good concept but lesser tags while Core JSF seems to have good information about tags but less about the concept. I have not seen Complete Reference .Can anyone tell me which of the 3 books to refer ?

-- As suggested before do a search at amamazon.com and check the review comments.

-- Go through the sample chapters to see if you like the writing style, explanation, examples, etc.

I have found The Complete Reference by Shalk and Burns to be the best out there. The index and TOC are lacking, but the content is pretty good.

Amazon - The Complete Reference - Javaserver Faces

Core Java Server Faces 2nd edition

And
