I have few items on my selectOneMenu item, and I want to show some text saying 'Select one' by default in this item. Is there any way for it or I should just add a dummy item to it and use it. Any ideas... plzz help...

If it's easy.. then everybody would do it!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
