I have to use the richfaces tooltip within a datagrid control. Is it possible to use an a4j:include or regular include within the tooltip? This way I can greatly decrease the amount of code I have in the page or will this cause a problem.

I don't fully understand your question and some sample code will be good.

I extract out resuable code into a separate tag that will greatly reduce the amount of code make your pages more maintanable. For example, I have a richColumnLink.xhtml defined as a tag.

It gets used as follows
