Berkeley DB is not a relational database, so no. We will support cloudscape as soon as the new opensource version ("Derby") is released by Apache.

Do you know what time cloudscape will be released as opensource ?
I want to use it as an embeded database in java stand-alone application. But the problem is , how we can do coding to open / shutdown database in our java application if cloudscape is included as a jar file?
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
