im getting a NoClassDefFoundError: net/sf/hibernate/MappingException from Hbm2JavaTask class.. that means net.sf.hibernate.MappingException is not on my classpath so maybe i didnt get a specific jar file

my question is:

which jar do i have to import in my project to get net.sf.hibernate.MappingException class???

thanx!!!

There is a list of required jar files in the Hibernate manual here

In the version of Hibernate I'm using its in Hibernate2.jar. Are you sure its in your classpath?

hbm2java is part of the Hibernate extensions package. These have not yet been written for Hibernate3 in line with the refactoring they have done. So if you want to use it you will need Hibernate2.

Lukas,

In Hibernate3 the packages names changed. Now it's "org.hibernate".
About hbm2java it's alredy there. Take a look at http://tools.hibernate.org
