Modified HibernateUtils from CaveatEmptor to support multiple databases

I'm about to (try to) adapt the HibernateUtil class from the CaveatEmptor example so that it supports loading of multiple configurations. Does anybody know if this has already been done and if so, can I get it and how?

TIA!

My initial attempts were kludgy at best and hard-wired the class to my configuration files. Has anybody seen a clean way to make HibernateUtil support multiple configurations/sessionFactories or should I try to go about it some other way? Any suggestions? TIA.
