Hello,
Are there any good hibernate forums on the web. The one at hibernate.org requires us to post code and I just can't post company code on the web for small issues.

Thanks,<br />Salil Surendran

How about this one right here? I think it's pretty good.

this one's real good. but posting in some more forums is always a good idea.

True, but I would also say that most forum people frown apon cross/duplicate posting. So like here, you only post your question once and in one forum only. If you have another thread at another forum with the same question, if you already got an answer there then we feel like you are wasting out time here, when there are so many out there that also need help.

Personally there are only two forums I believe will get you the best answer the fastest. Not in particular order, but jboss.com where you get answers from the Hibernate developers, or here.

I don't agree with you that posting in one forum gets you the answer. Some forums especially on hibernate don't give any answers at all. Also sometimes the answers are different. so it always help to post on different forums. Of if i get an answer from a different forum then it is a waste of my time to post in another forum also.

Not sure if you are responding here about my part with JavaRanch and posting to more than one forum on JavaRanch, but we do not allow cross posting at JavaRanch. If you post in more than one forum at JavaRanch, we will close all the threads except the one that is in the most appropriate forum.

Not a waste of time for you, but wasting our time. Meaning I have no idea that you posted at a different site, and I am spending my valuable time answering your questions, while you already had the answer from another site, that would definitely get me upset, and feel that I wasted my time answering your question.

I am also not saying that everyone feels that way, but a lot of moderators out in the world do feel this way.

I am talking about posting in another forum not posting in a different section in this forum. If we get an answer from another forum then we should post it in that answer in this forum so that everyone benefits and that way you won't waste your time either. I just answered my own post today because i found the answer. That should help everyone.
