Why they say that Objects are non-scalar and primitive types are scalar?? I posted this here because when I was exploring Hibernate, I came across a line that said, ORM is all about storing non-scalar types in a database. So please help me know the difference. I googled a lot but I was not able to find a simple answer as to why they say objects are non-scalar.
Thanks for your help!
