Hi,

I read that "Hibernate is used for persistence in EJB2 and in EJB3 we have JavaPersistence API for persistence" .. that means we cant use hibernate in ejb3... Is this true? Please help me out in this.

Thanks,
Malini

You can use Hibernate with EJB3 if you like. There is no technical restriction.

(Its always useful to quote your sources when asking for an explanation. Taken out of context its hard to explain what the writer was aiming for. )

Hibernate actually implements from JPA. So when you work on Hibernate it means that you are already into JPA.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
