"XML" datatype in hibernate

There is a datatype "XML" in DB2 v9. When using hibernate for mapping the column which is of type "XML" what data type we shud give to the property of the java bean class

Out of all the legwork I did, all I could find was either this thread, or this article about Oracle and Hibernate XML datatypes on WebSphere:

XML DataType Mapping with Oracle

It might give you some ideas.
