In Hibernate how to clear the data in the bean class of a table

Hi, I have column 'status' in a table called 'show_main', in our application when delete function is performed the status is updated to '0'
and when tried to view or delete the same record it has to check if the status is 1 only it should show the record. In my case a record which is deleted in that session is getting displayed even after deleting. when I am getting the status from showMain.java class insted of getting the value from database it is getting it from buffer i guess, so i tried to set the value of status to 0 after deleting and tried to close the session but nothing worked. Can any one help.
