Thanks for the opportunity to plug my book. In an effort not to hijack the forum, feel free to message me about it through the Ranch. Having said that, while some of the unedited content is on the website, the book offers more updated and valuable content. The website has alot of great information, so please use it. At the same time, if you need a book on the topic, I think you'll find Hibernate Made Easy a worthwhile purchase. The book sales also support the site, so just like the site gives back to the community, picking up a copy helps support the site. It's just a cycle of good Karma, and programmers helping programmers. By the way, I always recommend Java Persistence with Hibernate (JPWH), and a look at Harnessing Hibernate (HH)as well, especially if you want a complete library of Hibernate material. I'd say my book is a good book for beginners to intermediate Hibernate developers, HH is a very effective intermediate book, and JPWH is the reference standard. Here are a few of my recommendations: Recommended Books for Learning Hibernate and Becoming a Persistence Expert Kindest regards, and thanks for letting me talk about my book. -Cameron McKenzie [ May 22, 2008: Message edited by: Cameron Wallace McKenzie ]
