hibernate exception

Howdy Ranchers

I am getting the following exception when I try to create a Hibernate Session

  "org.hibernate.HibernateException: No CurrentSessionContext configured!"  

This is where I am using it

    public List retrievePersons(HttpSession sess){
        List<Person> personList = null;
       try{
        Session session = HibernateUtil.getSessionFactory().getCurrentSession();
        Transaction tx = session.beginTransaction();
        Query q = session.createQuery("from Person");
        personList = (List<Person> :wink:  q.list();
        Iterator iterator = personList.iterator();
        while(iterator.hasNext()){
            sess.setAttribute("name", iterator.next());
        }
       }catch(Exception e){
          String g = e.toString();
          e.printStackTrace();
       }
       return personList;
    }    

and this is my hibernate.cfg.xml file

I cant seem to figure out whats wrong here.

ok I got it..
this was missing in hibernate.cfg.xml

 <property name="hibernate.current_session_context_class">thread</property>
