in oder to get a cv of this sort one needs to do extensive research and must have years of developmental experience behind its back
in order to posses a grid to adapt new technologies just because they are the best and not waitng for the world to dive into it and find out whether or not the effort is a success
effort, commitment and risk taking strategy are the keys

Sure Web Services as a "term" is new and it also uses a lot of the new technology. But you can still have real experience of the problem domain that Web Services attempt's to solve.

I know it's a personal opinion but I find that term an asset ie. that it's a team that's at the forefront off technology. Most people don't know it but a lot of technology we use in our every work came from IBM's research.
Yeah I know I learnt my trade on an IBM 360

WebServices is very much related to CV when you know it.

Huh, you mean it will look good on your CV (resume) if you know it
