I am a novice in axis. I can deploy the WebService on it but can't run the example of it.
It always says that "The axis engine could not find a target service to invoke!" But when I use list command I see the service is in there.
How can I do?
I will appreciate any help for me!
Thank you!

Are you using Tomcat or other servlet engine, because the port number is important.
when you get this error,is that when running your client or while deploying ur service?

If this was my problem I would search the AXIS code to see exactly where that error message comes from. Also - have you checked the logs for a more detailed error message?

Thank you up two. I don't use any servlet engine but just use the engine axis itself. I can now deploy the service but when I use the example to test it, it says that the axis engine could not find a target service to invoke.
Anyway thank you!
