not able to run a sample soap service in apache/soap

hi , i have installed apache soap, and tomcat. The sample programs for the apache soap are running fine.
i have created a simple application, and registered it (it gets registered using the servicemanager ).
but when i run the client i get following error ..
what could be the problem,any help is appreciated.

I guess the problem is in the SOAP server. How does your server look like?

What provision have you made in your service for catching a null pointer exception and reporting it?
