Does anyone know of any open source (or commercial) impls of the SAAJ API (besides Axis). I've briefly entertained the idea of attempting to hack the J2EE 1.4 reference implementation into my environment but don't wanna muddy up my classpath as I'm sure the RI has a million dependencies on other 1.4 ee classes.

Well, I guess you will have to take a look @ the libs that are bundled with the WSAD.
I ve never worked on the WSAD, but logically, if they are providing a container, they would have thier own implementation.
