What part does Jxta play in web programming?

All these different acronyms can be confusing. What about Jxta? Isn't that also related to web programming? Or would that be a subject by itself.

No, it doesn't play any part in web programming. JXTA is a protocol for peer-to-peer networking. See jxta.org for details.
