Can soap return a xml after I invoke it?

Hi everyone:
I want to invoke a soap method in my javascript application.I expect that I will get a xml document after I invoke the soap. The xml data is come from database or come from other.Can soap do this? Is there any example to learn?

Yes, a SOAP request always gets a SOAP response. I don't know however whether it's possible to send SOAP requests from a web page using JavaScript.

Javascript can do this. You could see the http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/author/webservice/using.asp
It can use Jscript,VBScript invoke the webservice. It do this using xml and http protocol. Now I want to find a example invoking a soap method and return a xml document.But I can't find that . :roll:
