Hi

I have small doubt .....

Whether Portlet is table or frameset ?

Neither. You could make your portlet render itself as an HTML table (<table>), a layer (<div>), or just a bunch of paragraphs (<p>), or even an IFRAME (<iframe>) -- although the IFRAME stuff pretty much restricts your audience to IE users.
