This week's book giveaway is in the Agile and other Processes forum. We're giving away four copies of The Mikado Method and have Ola Ellnestam and Daniel Brolund on-line! See this thread for details.
Does anybody know if SOAP 1.2 implementations are available, or if any vendors have announced when they intend to provide SOAP 1.2 inside Web Services Tools?
Thanks

WebLogic 8.1 supports Soap 1.2 though it is based on a working draft.

Thanks Scott,
However Weblogic is too much expansive for prototyping. JWSDP and J2EE1.4 are still SOAP1.1. Does anybody know if they will become SOAP1.2 compliant in a near future? In the meantime, I'll try Axis. Do you have an experience of SOAP1.2 with Axis? Are there interoperability problems?
Thanks for information!

Axis claims its supports SOAP 1.2 http://ws.apache.org/axis/java/user-guide.html but there are many limitations or few bugs, if you are very keen to know the complete interoperability issue, then its better to search in their mailing list, I can't remember the link now,but there exist some report on this.
Thanks Balaji. I have found the mailing list of Axis which is very interesting. I was really hoping in SOAP1.2 and WSDL2.0 to achieve a more robust interoperability, because SOAP1.1 and WSDL1.1 are quite old stuff but the concepts of an envelope and a language are good concepts. It seems that no decisive announcements have been heard now, and WS-I BP1.1 is still SOAP1.1. Has somebody infos about SOAP1.2 and WSDL2.0? Thanks.
I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to
run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
