Hi All,

I am newbie to java web services. Can anyone recommend good books for learning the same with some concrete programs using ibm websphere application server 5.0, tomcat etc.

If I were you, I will learn the technology by the APIs than using specifically for a particular App server or using a specific IDE.

Following books I admire in web services arena:

1) Richard monson-haefel's book.
2) SOA + XML + Webservices book.

If you want specific to websphere, check this red book from IBM, it shows you step by step on how to build, deploy and test a webservice.
