I am couple of cases where JiBX and Apache AXIS are used in combination and I am not exactly the bigger picture of integrating these two and so can anyone shed light on this topic with necessary urls and tutorials.

I guess it more simillar like using Castor with Axis and this tutorial, you can try to apply the same logic or view on using JibX and Axis.

Balaji- Can you please explain me below :
1. how AXIS's serializing and deserializing of to and fro of xml to java object and vice versa works
2. what is the role played by various java-xml data binding frameworks like Castor,JiBX,Quick etc. in replacing the role of AXIS talked in above point 1
