Hi All,

There is simple POJO web service whose method takes a java object whose class extends another class. Here are the below details. When I try to invoke a web service java client program that uses AXIS 1.2 RC2 stubs I am getting an exception.

Why is this error occurring. Please suggest ?

Thanks & Regards,

Ok - in what way are Dog and Animal related? The class Dog doesn't have access to any method called "getLaysEggs".
Or am I confused?

I am getting the same stack trace, when I am trying to pass another POJO and also return a POJO from the soap service? Can you let me know if you resolved the problem and how?

Moreover, with me, if I deploy the service over tomcat it works, but it does not work (throw the exception) when I deploy it over Resin. I have no clue, what I should do about it.
Any response will be helpful.

Thanks.
