Axis comes with a war file that is ready to be deployed in a servlet container. If JBoss is like any other Java servlet engine, it has a directory (probably called webapps or something like that) where you can put your war files, and then the Axis web app will be started automatically. Consult your JBoss documentation which directory it is.
