wscompile question

I don't know much about wscompile or JAXRPC or web services in general, so bare with me.

This is the QUESTION:
Is there a way to tell wscompile to take some parameter telling it to not hardcode the url into the java code but to take it from a properties file. Is this possible?

(Or is there some other neat solution? see background)

This is the BACKGROUND:
In our project we make use of wscompile to generate java proxy classes for
webservices. I use the ant task for wscompile that takes package name and a config file as parameter, the config file contains a WSDL pointer.

Everything works fine technically, the problem is that when we make changes to the system, they are moved through four different environments: development -> test -> acceptance -> production. For each environment there are different web service locations. Which means that the classes generated by wscompile needs to be generated again, with the updated wsdl pointer. The problem with this is that I as a developer will be involved in lifting the changes from one environment to the other in that I need to provide the updated class package related for each web service url to the people involved with testing and "lifting" changes. The other problem is that the test people might feel uneasy with the fact that they will end up inserting a set of classes that havent been tested into production.

I would not like to mess with the auto generated java code since these classes might be generated by developers not familiar with JAX-RPC.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
